**apologies for cross posting**

ALPSP are running a new training workshop on 'Maximising Your
<http://www.alpsp.org/ngen_public/article.asp?aid=33282> Secondary Rights'
on the 4th of March in London.

In challenging times publishers particularly need to make sure they
understand the processes involved in licensing rights internationally, and
understand new business models, how to work with third parties, collect
revenue and review how they go about making the most of their content,
whether from books or journals. This new course for those who already have
some experience in copyright issues but want to know more, has as tutors
Jamie McQuat, a Copyright Consultant who was for 8 years the General
Manager, Rights and Licensing in the UK for Wiley, and Caroline Gomm,
International Rights Manager, BMJ Publishing Group. They also cover newer
media rights and the legal issues relating to both print and online
licensing.

There are still spaces available on the course, so book now.
