Hi all - apologies to those outside the London Region Arrangements have now been made to hold the London Region meeting that was cancelled last week due to the snow. The new date for the meeting is Tuesday 24th February - it will be held at London Metropolitan Archives. Full details are provided below. If you intend to join us please let me know on [log in to unmask] by Tuesday 17th February NOTICE FOR MEETING Date: 24th February 2009 Venue: Huntley Room, London Metropolitan Archives, 40 Northampton Road, EC1R 0HB In November last year the Society circulated to its members documents regarding the proposed merge of the SoA, NCA and ACALG. In response to this the London Region has invited representatives from the three main bodies as well as Archives for London (AfL) to discuss what these plans mean for their organisations and us the Society's members. It is also hoped that members will be keen to contribute to discussions regarding the future of the sector's professional bodies and what these proposals mean to us as members.
