Dear All

The Society of Archivists is joining with CILIP to present the above Executive Briefing in Manchester on 28th April 2009. We hope this will be the first of many joint events around the UK. Bookings are going well but we have a few places left. The programme for this event has been specially tailored to deliver real value for archivists and those involved in records management and preservation, with a parallel session in the afternoon to provide a focus on issues of special relevance. The Executive Briefing will take place in  Manchester on Tuesday 28 April 2009. The programme has been developed by Tim Padfield, Chair of LACA: The Libraries and Archives Copyright Alliance.

The draft programme with confirmed speakers is below. The discounted rate for Society of Archivists and CILIP members for this event is £195 plus vat.
