Free Event: Manorial Records Morning and Meeting of the Eastern Region

Date: 12 March 2009

Venue: Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies (HALS)

Manorial Records Morning:
This event is an opportunity to find out about the Manorial Documents
Register and about the recent MDR project at HALS.  The speakers will be
Liz Hart, Information Resources Officer, National Advisory Services at
The National Archives and Alison Cassidy, Project Archivist, Manorial
Documents Register, HALS.  Following the talks there will be time for
questions and a display of manorial documents from Hertfordshire.

Programme:
Registration will commence at 10:30 am.  The programme will begin at
11.00 am and finish at approximately 1.00 pm.  Tea and coffee will be
provided and there is a restaurant on site where delegates can purchase
their own lunch.

Maximum attendance: 25 delegates

BOOKING INFORMATION:  Bookings are required for the morning session and
to reserve a place please contact Gavin Henderson, preferably by e-mail

Hertfordshire County Council on 01438 737333 and ask for Gavin
Henderson.  Bookings are not required for the meeting in the afternoon.

website at <http://www.hertsdirect.org>.  There is some parking for
visitors at HALS, but they cannot guarantee parking spaces.

Eastern Region Meeting:
A meeting of the Eastern Region will follow this event at 2.15 pm.
Stuart Hobley, from HLF East of England, will give an overview of HLF
activities and current grant programmes.
