Hi, I am interested in getting a binary mask of the grey matter from the probabilistic map. I am using the segment feature of SPM8b with the updates installed. Searching through the mail archives I found one suggestion to threshold the image at a certain %, but then that raises the question as to what percent people would recommend for the thresholding? Another suggestion from the list was to look at each voxel, and only if the prob of GM is greater than prob of WM or the prob of CSF, does it become a part of the mask. I am ultimately interested in obtaining an accurate GM segmentation (and volume), so if there are other suggestions on how to do this, they would be greatly appreciated. thanks, mishkin
