Consultancy in Health Psychology: from Fears to Fulfilment

DHP CPD Workshop Friday 27th March 2009

Dr Mark Forshaw, Centre for Health Psychology, Staffordshire University

Content

What is consultancy, and how is it done?  How can I consult in health psychology?  Quite simply, this day-long workshop answers such questions, and is designed for those new to consultancy to help build confidence, provide a framework for practising as a consultant, and pass on experiences, tips and hints on building relationships with clients, writing contracts, and managing negotiations.  This workshop will be particularly useful for Stage II trainees and supervisors, but should interest anyone thinking of engaging in consultancy.
