Dear All,

Please find below information on ZSL's February Scientific Meeting,
which I hope will be of interest:

6.00pm, 10 February 2009 - ZSL Scientific Meeting DARWIN'S LEGACY: THE
FATE OF THE ICONS OF EVOLUTION

This Scientific Meeting will examine the legacy of Darwin's voyage to
the Galapagos Islands, and the fate of some of the key people and
species he encountered along the way.

Scientific meetings are free and open to everyone - no need to book in
advance but please arrive early as seating is limited.

We hope you will be able to attend the above Scientific Meeting at
6.00pm on Tuesday, 10 February 2009; please arrive early to ensure you
get a good seat - the ZSL Meeting Rooms will be open from 5.00pm on the
evening, and seats will only be reserved at the talks for those who have
booked to come to the dinner.

The evening has been organised by Sam Turvey and Carly Waterman
(Institute of Zoology & Conservation Programmes, ZSL); talks will be
given by Joanne H. Cooper (the Natural History Museum at Tring), Colin
McEwan (The British Museum) and H. Glyn Young (Durrell Wildlife
Conservation Trust); and we will have time for questions following the
talks.

DINNER WITH THE SPEAKERS

A 3-course dinner with the speakers will follow this Scientific Meeting.
