Hi Helen,
Is BA equipement required? If not, then if he is well controlled and regular spirometry is carried out then exclusion not necessary. Referral to OHP for assessment would
be useful if LFT results are not in normal limits and or BA equipement is used. Would advise 3 - 6 monthly lung functon instead of annual to assisit in any early detection of any problems.

Hi all
I have a worker who is 19yo and asthmatic on becotide inhaler bd. Does this exclude him from working in confined spaces i.e. tunnelling/augerboring - laying sewage pipes.
