Events Coordinator (MusicTank & NMK)
Cavendish Site

Salary: £23,865 - £26,346 p.a. (Inc. LWA)

MusicTank (www.musictank.co.uk) and NMK (www.nmk.co.uk) are two highly
successful business development networks owned and supported by the
University which are dedicated to particular industries.  Their
purpose is to engage with industry, innovation and change within their
respective sectors and to meet the best professional practice
developmental needs of companies in the sectors, particularly micro,
small and medium size companies.

Between them, both networks run a programme of seminars, training
courses, networking events and conferences.  The University needs to
appoint a full-time Events Co-ordinator to work across both networks
under direction from the Editor of NMK and the Programme Director of
MusicTank.

The post holder is likely to be a graduate, preferably in music,
digital media or a related field and have at least 1 year's experience
of working in a supportive, administrative, project or event
management position within these sectors.

Good IT and interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to
work on initiative and to multi-task. The candidate must also be
confident in a customer-facing role and will be required to work at
events outside normal office hours.

The post holder would be based in New Cavendish Street, Central London
as part of WestmARC, the University's contract research, consultancy
and enterprise team.
