You will have a clear understanding of current on-line magazines, their content, readership and place in the sector and have an infectious enthusiasm for the growing on-line market. You will have experience writing for websites as well as in content management. A background in print journalism is an advantage, as is knowledge of contemporary production techniques. You will have a first degree in a relevant subject area or equivalent and have a proven background of both relevant and recent industry experience in online journalism with preferably teaching experience at higher education level. You will be able to communicate effectively and work well within a team, contributing to new development across the journalism degrees within the Media Writing Programme Group. You will be well organised and able to contribute to the effective running of the course.
