from Lyne to Lone

Could Lyne in the ME poem Ichot a burde in a bour (or Annote and Iohon, in the Harley Lyrics; 13th century) be an n-variant of Lyme?     The line is:

33: Such licoris mai leche from Lyne to Lone;

Traditionally this is the river Lyn in Dorset, but we really expect something in the north-west, and Wirral has just been mentioned in line 27, so a district name is possible (Lone is the Lune).     I don't think this was mentioned by Richard Coates in his article on Lyme in JEPNS, 36 (2003-4), 39-50.
