organised by JISC RSC Northern and the
The conference
aims to bring together people from the region’s higher and further
education and skills providers with an interest in immersive learning in
virtual worlds – including lecturers/tutors, educational
developers and technologists, researchers and managers .
The conference team invites
you to share your experiences of exploring, evaluating or developing opportunities
for learning and teaching in virtual worlds.
We encourage presenters
to make their workshops interactive and to promote discussions which examine
the impact of their work for the sector.
Proposals for
workshops and discussion sessions are invited which address a broad range of
themes including, but not limited to:
Submitting
Your Proposal
350 word abstract
describing
Workshop: (either 45
or 90 minutes) with the emphasis on high levels of participation.
Presentation: (25
minutes plus 20 minutes of questions and discussion) giving an account of
research, experience, evaluation, policy or practice with the emphasis on
drawing out lessons for others and engaging participants.
