This summer school will deal with the broad subject of home care systems - specifically technologies that support delivery of care to the home. Students from a variety of disciplines (not just computing) should find the summer school of interest. The focus will be on high-level functions and use of specific technologies for home care: networks, services, sensors, data visualisation, speech, and human-computer interaction. The summer school will offer formal lectures from internationally recognised speakers, coupled with practical work to reinforce what is learned.
