Please excuse cross-postings ACA Poster Session May 17, 2009 2009 ACA Conference, "Rights, Responsibilities, Trust: Archives and Public Affairs" Fairmont Palliser Hotel, Calgary, AB The ACA 2009 Program Committee is pleased to invite submissions of abstracts for poster presentations. Topics relating to the 2009 conference theme “Rights, Responsibilities, Trust: Archives and Public Affairs” are especially encouraged, though other topics addressing any aspect of archives and/or records management will be considered. A poster presentation is one in which information is summarized using texts and images, and mounted on poster board. This is an excellent opportunity to highlight your repository, a digitization project, a research project or other initiative, and share your work with your colleagues from around the country. The poster can be up to 3’ x 4’, horizontal or vertical, and can either be professionally printed or created by hand. We will provide the boards and easels for mounting the posters. We would prefer one poster per person. The posters will be on display in the Turner Valley foyer on Sunday, May 17 during the morning break and lunchtime sessions. Up to 14 poster presentations will be selected by the Program Committee. Please include the following in your submission: - Your name, telephone number, postal address and e-mail address - Title and abstract (max 250 words) of your poster presentation Your submission should be sent to Sarah Stacy, ACA Program Committee via e-mail: <mailto:[log in to unmask]> [log in to unmask] The deadline for submissions is: February 27, 2009.
