From Richard Tarnas

We wanted to let our fellow esoteric scholars know about the new journal Archai: The Journal of Archetypal Cosmology, whose first issue will come out in March. The website is now available at www.archaijournal.org <https://owa.uwe.ac.uk/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://www.archaijournal.org/> .

Archai is a new academic journal whose aim is to found a new academic discipline known as archetypal cosmology. It will examine significant correlations between cyclical alignments of the planets and the archetypal patterns of human experience, and explore their philosophical and cosmological implications. The journal and website were established by participants in the Archetypal Research Collective, about sixty researchers and scholars in the San Francisco Bay Area who are largely associated with the California Institute of Integral Studies.

This preliminary version of the website provides a brief introduction to archetypal cosmology, a preview of the content planned for the journal's premier issue, a description of the editorial team, detailed submissions guidelines, and brief descriptions of what to expect on the other major pages of the website.

We hope you enjoy the site!

The CAMBRIDGE CENTRE for the study of WESTERN ESOTERICISM is independent of any academic or esoteric communities, the directors share an interest in the need for a wider dialogue between scholars and practitioners in the field of Western Esotericism and in the establishment of a secular space in which an interdisciplinary network can thrive.
