This special issue will be guest edited by Professor Juliet Lodge (University of Leeds). The JCER editors are currently looking for additional contributions, with particularly focus on contributions from PhD students and early career researchers. Papers should address EU internal and external security issues and may be empirical or theoretical. Critical approaches to the balance between liberty and security are especially welcome. Research Articles should be between 6000-8000 words in length. For further information about the special issue, or to express interest in contributing an article or commentary please contact Juliet Lodge by email at [log in to unmask] no later than 31st December 2008.
