Yes I have heard that old Welsh counting (it is actually the numbers I 
think) but I dont know how they are written.

We did get to singing it. . . .

Speaking of singing, did kids in the North of England a couple of
generations ago really sing "Oh, you can't put your trash in our
dustbin" (to the tune of --- can't remember the title) or was Ewan
MacColl just joking when he said so?
