I suspect it was just everyone was too busy to read & respond at that  
moment, Fred. I l know I was.

Before I looked him up (never having had the pleasure of learning  
about him before), I thought that this --

or of a Christian bookstore,
I think how nice it must be
to have fans.

is an even sadder tale, nicely torqued to cynicism (at least for me).
