I've always referred to them as "flats" simple as that. I very much doubt that there would be a wagon specifically used for moving a kibble - flats are so useful that they are used for a multiplicity of jobs. In the last few days I have used the same flat to shift building materials, timber, drums of water, plant and tools and also for man riding- flats are versatile bits of kit. In the Burra photo's the small flat-bed truck is shown parked on the rough raised tramway. I am referring to the shaft, and whim , before any automatic system was fitted to empty the kibble. Hope some one knows. Take Care. Roger B Bradford, Of Elizabeth, South Australia -- Internal Virus Database is out-of-date. Checked by AVG.
