They need to be ordered horizontally, not vertically.  You can easily change
this using excel's transpose function (located under paste special).

I ran the bedpostx_datacheck command with the required input files
within the folder, with filenames as mentioned in the FSL website, and
got the following error message. The bval and bvec files are attached.
