Hi Maria and Everyone!

Excuse for the narcisitic reference, but not too long ago I got a grounded theory article published in Scandinavian Journal of Disability Research entitled "Stigma-handling strategies in everyday life among women aged 20 to 30 with transversal upper limb reduction deficiency", and one area focused was body image among women with dysmelia (one hand less than what is deemed normal by society at large).

The complete reference, although not in APA-style, is: Krantz, O; Bolin, K. & Persson, D. (2008) Stigma-handling strategies in everyday life among women aged 20 to 30 with transversal upper limb reduction deficiency. Scandinavian Journal of Disability Research, vol 10 no 4 pp 209-26.

Sincerely,

Oskar Krantz
