Hi

has anyone had any dealings with the CCRC.

I have recieved a letter from the CCRC asking for the disclosure of
personal\sensitive information about someone and their family where this
person was the victim of a serious crime.

The perpetrator of the crime has applied to have their case reviewed and the
CCRC have requested this information as part of this review.

They have quoted their powers under section 17 of the Criminal Appeals Act
which seems to over-ride the DPA and make way for a complete disclosure.

As with any disclosure of third party data I am a little concerned about it

Regards
