Apologies for cross-posting RGS-IBG Annual Conference, Manchester: 26-28 August 2009 First call for papers Gender, geography, knowledge and society: emerging research and researchers. Sponsored by the Women and Geography Study Group Convenors: Jo Norcup (University of Glasgow), Helen Holmes (University of Sheffield) This aim of this session is to engage with new and emerging research by postgraduate and early career geographers whose research and working practices intersect with feminist geographies. By considering the broader conference themes of Geography, Knowledge, and Society, this session will also allow time for discussion to be had reflecting on current theoretical, research, practices, and pedagogies, and situate these in broader temporal and spatial engagements of the WGSG.
