>Young People’s Programme Project Co-ordinator (Primary)
>The BA is a registered charity whose mission is to connect science with people, making science itself and the ways in which it is applied accessible to all. The Project Co-ordinator is an exciting new post in the BA Young People’s Programme which will focus on the redevelopment of the BA primary award scheme.
>
>An opportunity has arisen to take over an exciting role at the BA (British Association for the Advancement of Science).  The overall purpose of the role is twofold. Firstly the post holder will focus on the implementation phase of the BA primary award scheme, CREST * Investigators, for children aged 5-12. Secondly the post holder will contribute to the piloting and evaluation of the BA primary award scheme materials through the London Engineering Project (LEP). This project aims to increase and widen participation in Engineering Higher Education.  It is centred on Southwark in South London and is one of the Higher Education Funding Council’s projects for encouraging young people from under-represented backgrounds into higher education in shortage subjects.

>SALARY: Salary circa £26,000pa depending on experience plus benefits
