Hello all, I have been asked to find out information on the storage of medical records electronically and I really don't know where to start. The company in question has a problem with storage so it is their aim to scan all paperwork to keep electronically and then the original soft copy would be shredded. Has anyone got any experience of this, what safeguards do I need to ensure are in place and what are the legal implications to this? Any other practical advice?
