Lecturer in Scriptwriting The Media School (Ref: MED289) c. £30k - £35k per annum The Media School is one of the most highly regarded centres for media practice higher education in the UK with an outstanding reputation for the integration of professional practice, research and scholarship. It is the only Centre for Excellence in Media Practice in the UK. In conjunction with the Arts Institute at Bournemouth, the School has also been awarded Screen and Media Academy status by Skillset. We are seeking a highly talented, enthusiastic and motivated person to join us. You will be central to our scriptwriting and screenwriting education within the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum and will strengthen the research and enterprise profile of the School. You will be a scriptwriting professional with a Doctorate and will have experience of teaching in a media environment. Those candidates who do not meet the minimum criteria may be considered for a Practice Fellow position with a view to putting in place a development plan to support the achievement of appropriate academic qualifications within a reasonable timescale for subsequent appointment as a Lecturer.
