Mobile Learning Conference  26 January 2009 at the V&A, London

Interested in mobile learning - what it is and how to do it?
This event gives you a pragmatic overview of the issues involved

What will it offer?  A practical overview of key topics, including:

1.	an introduction to mobile technology 
2.	how handheld technologies can support learning
3.	how it can work in a museum setting 
4.	case studies
5.	how to stop the technology taking over

Following the highly successful ELG event on Mobile Learning on 6 March 2008 at the Museum in Docklands, this day features all new updates and case studies

Outline programme 
1000 - 1025 Registration and coffee
1025 - 1030 Introduction to the day
1030 - 1100 Overview of mobile learning in the cultural sector
1100 - 1140 Case study 1 - Rebecca Reynolds, V&A / CETLD 
1140 - 1200 Short break
1200 - 1240 Case study 2
1240 - 1340 Lunch 
1340 - 1420 Case study 3
1420 - 1500 Case study 4
1500 - 1520 Tea
1520 - 1540 Databursts - quick summaries of activity in other museums, libraries or archives
1540 - 1600 Questions and panel discussion - sustainability, compatibility, accessibility etc
1600 - Evaluation forms and close

 

Case studies and databursts

Are you involved in a mobile learning project that might be presented as a case study on this day?  We are looking for case studies involving Higher Education, schools and informal learning

We will also be including time in the programme for short 5 minute presentations from people planning or already involved in projects involving mobile technology for learning.

Cancellation policy - 7-14 days prior to event 50% of the fee is payable.  Within 7days of the event the full fee will be payable.
