There are several good documents out there regarding classroom spaces here are some http://www.mlanortheast.org.uk/documents/Space_Invaders1.pdf http://www.sfc.ac.uk/information/information_learning/AMA_spaces_for_lea rning.pdf Space for Art is another useful but quite old document now. A quick search on www.teachernet.gov.uk will produce lots of results. Space per pupil is recommended at 2.8sq metres there must be requirements for loos not sure what those are. Is there a legal requirement for the number of toilets too? Thanks Laura Simpson Derby Museum Disclaimer The information in this email is confidential.
