Dear colleague, Have you been in a situation where a student was acting disruptively or strangely, and you were uncomfortable or uncertain about how to respond? You are invited to contribute your anonymous experiences of what happened and how you dealt with it, to a research project which aims to identify the key areas of concern regarding disruptive student behaviour, and propose a toolkit to better equip higher education staff in how to deal with these situations. I encourage any contributions you or fellow tutors could make to the project, through the online form at: https://www.survey.ed.ac.uk/studentbehaviour The survey is completed anonymously, and can be saved part way through. There are 9 short questions and 1 longer question where you can provide a fuller description of your experiences. Depending on how much detail you provide, the survey should take around 15 minutes to complete. If you think colleagues outside of your area of work may be interested in contributing, please feel free to pass on information about the project to them. With thanks in advance, Alistair Knock MSc eLearning student The University of Edinburgh [log in to unmask] ________________End of message________________ This Disability-Research Discussion list is managed by the Centre for Disability Studies at the University of Leeds (www.leeds.ac.uk/disability-studies).
