“MAKING ART WORK: SUPPORTING STUDENTS IN THE CREATIVE INDUSTRIES”

Taking place on Monday 8th December 2008, Christies Education, London

The creative industries are becoming an increasingly important part of the UK 
economy and alongside developing their creativity, arts practitioners are 
required to develop skills like marketing and business to enable them to 
compete. 
This course aims to provide art librarians with an insight into how best to 
support enquiries about the new skills required by students in the creative 
industries. 
Speakers include professionals from a range of organizations which provide the 
support and skills development needed to establish creative enterprises.
