*Stoke Primary Care Trust **Public Health Information Specialist Band 7* You will lead the public health intelligence function of the PCT and provide advice on statistical and epidemiological methods of interrogating health and health service related data sets. This will include establishing a health surveillance system in collaboration with other providers of health and demographic data in Stoke on Trent as well as in the West Midlands Region and nationally, you will also describe the health of the local population and draw comparisons with similar populations elsewhere in the UK and Europe. As part of this role you will ensure that the needs of the Public Health Directorate and others are met, whilst forging working relationships with a number of other organisations such as Stoke on Trent City Council and local universities.
