Just to draw mailbase members attention to the Principal Biochemist 8A/B position at Barnstaple Hospital N Devon which is in the Nov edition of ACB News and advertised on NHS Jobs http://www.jobs.nhs.uk/cgi-bin/vacdetails.cgi?selection=912124331 N Devon is an area of outstanding natural beauty having Exmoor on its doorstep. Housing is very affordable and this position is very much a "blank canvass" allowing the successful appointee to develop the service along the lines of their own vision. The N Devon Biochemistry department enjoys very close working relationships with the Royal Devon and Exeter Foundation trust and participates in the Grade A Biochemist and higher specialist training programmes in Clinical Biochemistry. There will be ample opportunity for the successful appointee to "grow" and develop the position as they gain experience within the role.
