Call for Articles for a Book Publication: Esotericism, Religion, and Nature

The Association for the Study of Esotericism is seeking just a few more articles to complete the next volume in the series Studies in Esotericism, to be entitled Esotericism, Religion, and Nature.  The collection will be published by MSU Press in late 2009 / early 2010.  Themes of potential interest include “Judaism, Esotericism, and Nature,” “Christianity, Esotericism, and Nature,” “Esotericism, Music, and Nature,” “Neoplatonism and Nature,” “Alchemy and Nature,” and “Esotericism and Exoteric Views of Nature.”  We may be interested in articles on other topics if they center on a theme related to Esotericism and Nature.  If you would like to contribute an article on one of these themes, please send a proposal to the volume editors at [log in to unmask]  by December 1, 2008, earlier if possible.  Completed articles are due by 15 January, 2009.  Submissions should be approximately 12-18 pages in length and conform to the Chicago Manual of Style, in particular, endnotes.  Images for possible use in an article should be 300 dpi.  Authors are responsible for requesting and receiving permission to reprint images for scholarly use.
