Dear SCARF users, The main network switch stack hosting the connection into the RAL e-Science Atlas machine room has developed a fault which cannot be cleared without rebooting. This reboot will be done during the network at risk period on Tuesday 11th November at around 8:00am. During the time taken for the switch to reset, which is approximately 2 minutes, there will be no connectivity to the machine room network and between some machines in the machine room network. As a result there is a chance that jobs running over this period will be disrupted or lost. We greatly regret having to take this action but are forced to do so in order to maintain multiple services. Apologies in advance for the inconvenience, Duncan
