Hi

The University of Wolverhampton is seeking areas for short placements for PRE-REGISTRATION nursing students in the West Midlands, especially Black Country area.  This will provide wonderful opportunities for students nearing the end of their nurse training to learn a bit about occupational health.  If you think you might be able to offer such learning opportunities, then please email me at [log in to unmask]  By contacting me you won't be committing yourself to anything, other than an opportunity to find out how you can help promote occupational health as a career to new nurses, and how the university can help you in return with your own professional development.

Here is a link to the new NMC standards for supporting learning in practice:  http://www.nmc-uk.org/aFrameDisplay.aspx?DocumentID=4368

Best wishes

Bashyr
