A joint postdoc position is available in the Reaction Dynamics group of the Laboratoire Francis Perrin (http://www-lfp.cea.fr) and PLEIADES Beamline from the synchrotron SOLEIL (http://www.synchrotron-soleil.fr/Recherche/LignesLumiere/PLEIADES). Both are located near Paris, France. The project is to build a versatile and mobile experimental apparatus devoted to photochemical studies of nanoparticles irradiated by light under different excitation conditions. The candidate will also perform, time resolved experiments monitored by photoelectron Velocity Map Imaging technique on selected systems. Experience in nanoparticle generation will be appreciated. The position starts between January 1st 2009 and March 1st 2009, and the appointment will be for 12 months. Applications must be submitted before November 1st electronically. Two recommendation letters are required. The position is granted by the network RTRA "Triangle de la physique" through the project DYNANEX. Salary will be about 33.6 k€ before taxes, depending on candidate research experience.
