I am not shy, but time short, and hate to be corralled, and prefer an open list. what have we to hide? I also wasn't happy with why it was set up in the first place (I detected ulterior motives) (and when ever I visited it was dull and boring with few different people or comments, but that was a while ago I have to admit)

...and surely if *I* can figure out how to get into Communities (hint: it takes some perseverance if it doesn't work the first time round, like many things in life!) then so can any of the seasoned professionals on these lists!
The only loss is really to the wider profession if wise, knowledgable and enthusiastic people shy away from adopting new tools to address the organisation as a whole.
