Hi As far as I am aware EBS does apply candidate numbers alphabetically anyway. The only things which make a difference are Nov entries, for instance, Jan entries etc. So the system will apply an alpha numbering for the entries you have in at the time. Subsequent entries will then have to have a later number allocated, each time you generate additional numbers they will be in alpha runs but obviously with higher numbers. Unfortunately by the time you get to the summer entries you have several little runs of alpha.
