      INFORMATION SECURITY: THE BURNING ISSUES

Recent high profile breaches of information security have ensured that
the management of
information and of information risk is now a priority for many
organisations.

Records managers and archivists who would like to learn more about
managing information
risk will find this an invaluable event.

At this event experts Alastair Brown, Elizabeth Lomas and Stephen
McCartney will share
their experience and expertise with delegates.

A short AGM for the RM Group will take place at noon. Attendance at
the AGM is free for
members of the RM Group.

For further details of the programme, together with nomination forms,
the 2008 annual
report and the agenda for the AGM see

The fee for attendance at the training event is £65 for members and
£80 for non-members.

A booking form is available at http://www.archives.org.uk/resources/Training

The event will be held in the Wolfson Room, Institute of Historical
Research, Senate
House, Malet Street, London WC1E 7HU.
