I cannot make 01 November - I am on he mend and hope to make the next EB in the new year. I do, however, think this is an adventure worth pursuing.

Subject: For discussion

Dear Editorial Board Members/Executive Members,

I have received the attached CfP from Alex Prichard who is organising a major conference on the political relevance of anarchism and Marxism in the contemporary geo-political climate. The conference is entitled *Is Black and Red Dead?* and the likelihood is that it will be hosted by the Centre for the Study of Social and Global Justice (CSSGJ) at the University of Nottingham in September 2009. The conference is to be organised through the PSA Anarchist Studies Network, the BISA Marxism and International Relations Working Group, and the PSA specialist group for the study of Marxism. These bodies will be underwriting the finance. Additionally, Anarchist Studies and Historical Materialism have agreed to support the event through a free advertisement in their publications. I would like to see Capital & Class match this register of support. Would it be possible at the next Editorial Board meeting on 1 November to discuss this proposal and decide whether to adopt the suggestion? Many thanks,
Adam.
