SENIOR CONSERVATOR, Inverness

Salary: £27,714-£30,084 [relocation expenses are available for this post]

 

A purpose-built Highland Archive Centre is currently being constructed at Inverness, and the new post of Senior Conservator is being established to manage the Archive Preservation and Conservation section which is being incorporated within the new facility. Initially the person appointed will be required to oversee the fit out of the conservation studio, and to liaise with the Design Team in achieving and monitoring the required environmental conditions within the new archive repositories.

 

You must hold a recognised qualification in Archive Conservation, and have post-qualification experience of archive conservation work.
