CHAIR OF STATISTICS, THE UNIVERSITY OF QUEENSLAND The role: The successful appointee will be expected to provide leadership in research and teaching in Statistics, and to be a strong advocate of Statistics within the University and in the broader academic, business, industrial, and political community. The person: Candidates with research interests in any area of Applied Statistics are encouraged to apply. The appointee must have an outstanding international research record in Statistics. He/she should possess a proven record of attracting competitive research funding plus demonstrated potential for research collaboration with other Disciplines. Applicants must have a proven record of teaching excellence plus experience in developing curricula for a broad range of courses. Remuneration: The remuneration package will be $129,654.41 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of 17% (total package will be $151,695.66).
