Hi All,

This link contains a commentary on the press coverage that Ceridwen mentions. It doesn't fully answer the question (I get the impression the answer is not fully understood) but gives very useful links to the headline and the research the press have based their coverage on (for this and other health headlines).

Dear All,
Is anyone able to shed any light on a subject aired in several papers yesterday? Apparently when men are put on statins their PSA levels fall. Dose-related. Not clear what is the cause, direct on release PSA or tissue effect of statin.
I've already had one query from a local GP.
