I am pleased to announce the launch today of the Invitation to Participate for Focus 2009, which will be arriving in your pigeonholes with this month's ACB News. Dr Keith Griffiths and his team from the Wales ACB Region have put together an innovative and up-to-date programme covering the range of subjects that clinical biochemists need for their day to day practice and to take them into an uncertain but exciting future. Focus next year will be held in Liverpool at the new purpose-built Arena & Convention Centre with hotels all within a few minutes walk, and will include the opportunity to socialise and network with colleagues in a more informal setting.
