the center of imagery and neuroscience has an immediate opening for a 2 years postdoctoral researcher.

We study the neural and behavioral mechanisms of the brain default mode with fMRI and electrophysiology in humans using independent component analysis signal processing methods. Self-driven individuals with prior experience in at least one of these fields and the desire to gain expertise in one or more of the others are especially encouraged to apply.

The laboratory is hosted by CYCERON, one of the leading French platforms of in-vivo human imaging. We get access to a 3T Philips MRI and 2 EEG systems (inside and outside the MRI magnet). The LINDECO work in collaboration with 4 teams which thematic covers language, numerical and spatial cognitions, schizophrenia and development.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in neurosciences, applied mathematics, physiology or signal processing and be familiar with the concepts and methods of cognitive neuroimaging.

To apply, please send (i) curriculum vitae and (ii) a cover letter describing research accomplishments and interests, and have two letters of recommendation sent to Marc Joliot at ([log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]>), preferably as email attachments.

The CNRS French governmental agency will be the Employer.

Deadline for application November 30, 2008
