Subject:         Planning for the DAWG Forum in Washington, DC, on January 10, 2009
 
I am writing to inform you that the planning has begun for the DAWG Forum in Washington, DC, on Saturday, January 10, 2009, and to ask you to include the Forum in your personal schedule if you plan to attend the 88^th TRB Annual Meeting.
 
Additionally, this is the first “call” for abstracts (see the attached announcement and abstract form).  The agenda is currently vacant, and will be filled on a “first come, first served” basis.  There is no deadline for receipt of abstracts, but you risk being too late if the agenda fills before you send in your abstract.
 
Please plan to attend the DAWG Forum and the Annual Meeting by scheduling your travel to arrive in Washington in time for the Forum’s start at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10.
