Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Astronomy
School of Physics, Astronomy and Mathematics, and 
Centre for Astrophysics Research
University of Hertfordshire

33,700 - 42,700 per annum starting salary (depending on experience)

We wish to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer with a strong research 
record in extragalactic astronomy and which complements our existing 
research within this area (see http://star.herts.ac.uk for research 
details and links to the School of Physics, Astronomy & Mathematics).

The successful applicant will also contribute to a range of degree 
courses within the School of Physics, Astronomy & Mathematics.

The post, available from January 1 2009, or as soon as possible 
thereafter, will be on the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer scale (33,700 to 
42,700).
