Hi Peter & All,

I must admit I was pleased to find the definition of supervision so neatly put in terms of the coaching model I experienced at the Bristol Coaching Exchange earlier this year and I am surprised  the world of coaching has not invented a novel word to distinguish this meaning.
As language evolves & words are constantly being added and dropped maybe we'll join in?
Might be fun to think up some alternatives for supervision on this list e.g. meta-mentoring?

Best regards,

Sarah

re supervision
It's a neat definition, and I like the idea. The problem is though that
everyday words, e.g. supervision, carry with them our personal histories of
familiarities with them
