Liverpool John Moores University Lecturer/Senior Lecturer - Media Professional Studies Faculty of Media, Arts and Social Science £34,793 - £42,791 Please quote Ref: B7496AC The Faculty of Media, Arts and Social Science has a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes which combine academic rigour with professional and vocational development: many programmes have partnerships with local and national industries and organisations such as the BBC, Tate Liverpool, Lime Pictures and Trinity Mirror. There are four academic Schools: The Liverpool School of Art and Design; The School of Media, Critical and Creative Arts, The School of Social Science, and the recently established Liverpool Screen School, which gained Skillset Media Academy Status in 2007. Working in the Liverpool Screen School you will be required to make a key contribution to the teaching of Media Business, Media Theory and Media Production. The post necessitates experience in teaching media production, television culture, media business and television production, research and writing at undergraduate level. You should have knowledge of the Higher Education sector, extensive experience in the delivery of relevant undergraduate programmes and a commitment to both pedagogy and research.
