Alumni and Development Services Officer: Marketing, Events and Communications

This is a new role within a busy team and the main duties will be to
develop a comprehensive communications/marketing programme and web
strategy to market and enhance alumni relations across a range of
audiences.  You will be required to involve alumni, friends and former
staff who will support and advance the University's objectives through
their financial support, goodwill, influence, contacts and expertise,
creating lifelong relationships for the benefit of both graduates and
the University.  You will ensure that long term messaging reflects
DARO's and the University's strategy and is integrated across all
media, and you will also create and implement a prospect and donor
events programme for different fundraising markets and constituent
groups.

You will have demonstrated significant experience in marketing and
communications and, preferably also event management, preferably in a
higher education environment.  You will also have experience in web
development and web technology.  You should have good IT skills
including experience in web development and web technology and
knowledge of web authoring packages.  Knowledge of email, Word, Excel,
Access software and Raisers' Edge or a similar relationship management
database is desirable.

Salary will be in the range £22,223 - £27,332 per annum.
